Come Back Stronger:  10th Annual Bookstock Authors’ Festival Celebrates Memphis’ Authors

Memphis Public Library will soon be throwing their hat into the ring in celebration of coming back stronger after a pandemic with the 10th annual #Bookstock2022 Authors’ Festival.  The literary festival will take place Saturday, May 7th from 11AM - 3PM at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library and promises to be fun-filled day for adults and kids alike!

The festival will bring together over 60 local authors and historians – all converging to celebrate and represent the rich and diverse history of the Mid-South.  Friends, customers, and booklovers alike are invited to attend this free event to mingle with their favorite authors as well as purchase books.

The year’s festival will feature keynote address, local choirs, dance, and musical performances. Additional activities for #Bookstock2022 will include:

• Balloon Artist creating specialty balloons for kids
• Selfie Station
• Memphis in May Honoring Ghana Exhibit, Books Display, and Books Giveaway
• And much more!

New York Times Bestselling author, journalist, and television host Richard Grant – author of the Deepest South of All will be delivering this year’s keynote address beginning at 1PM along with Ali Manning: Food Scientist4 Kids and Erica Martin, author of And We Rise.
